A few birds today
All shot between Wall and Pierre on Hwy 14 today...
Rooster, Chinese Ringnecked Pheasant Redwing Blackbirds, male and female... Nest: hawk, eagle, heron, ?... Western Meadowlark Rancher... Blue Longhorn Bull...

I've always loved meadowlarks. Out on the plains, when there are few other birds, there always seems to be meadowlarks. They are pretty and they have a nice song.
