Argus Leader covers IM 13

Two stories in the Argus Leader today.
First story
Second story

"So far, the South Dakota State Medical Association (WTF?), Attorney General Marty Jackley, the South Dakota Police Chiefs' Association and South Dakota Sheriffs' Association have opposed the measure."

"Mabry is concerned the law would create a black market for unused marijuana."

I had to laugh out loud at that one. "Unused marijuana?" Never has been such a thing in South Dakota. Never will be. Moron.

What about the black market for medicinal marijuana that currently exists? This black market leads to people who are suffering through chemo to be arrested and branded criminal for buying what their doctor thinks they might need to continue with chemo.

Pot isn't hard to get, never will be.

There is a new radio commercial ciruculating, warning of the dangers of texting while driving. The ad claims this is the same as if your blood alcohol content is .13 over the impaired level.

I predict the state legislature will make a law banning texting in 2011, and Mabry to be on the lookout for unused cell minutes.

The only unused marijuana I have ever heard of is when someone forgot where they hid their stash.
