Crossed the White River northeast of Winner Friday (3/12). I've never seen the White as anything but a spit-stream. The first photo might give you an idea how close to the bridge the water was.
Next shot is looking upstream, then downstream, and finally a shot of ice bulldozed onto the bank by other ice after the ice breakup. The only ice left is an occasional floe that slipped off the bank upstream.
This bridge is about a mile from where the White enters Big Muddy.
