O M G !

How out of touch and coffin-scratching desperate do you have to be to ask Sarah Palin to stump for you?

My friend--a few days ago you excoriated someone for their grammar. You, we're all guilty of lapses in our use of the language but, really..................
"The right to stand on a street corner or in a public cemetery and hold a sign with an execrable message is more necessary to liberty than is the right to hold a funeral without jerks across the street saying the departed is doomed for being killed while under the orders of somebody Phelps doesn't like. [What the heck are you trying to say here?] Phelps will fade away. Other Phelps's will arise. [Oh come on. Surely you know the difference between possessive and plural.]

Oops--the second sentence should begin "You know," not just "You." Like I said, we're all guilty of lapses.

Phelpses. Yes. You're right. But even at that, I'm better'n most.

The real question is: What the heck is Phelps trying to say by protesting at military funerals?

He's seeking attention, nothing more and nothing less.
