Have our National Forests gone to pot?

The Wall Street Journal documents the spread of Pot Plantations in the US. Take a look at the maps. They're not here yet... or are they?

Poster "Les" remarks, "We could put a quicker stop to this than almost any problem we face right now by legalizing the weed! Governor Mike, think of the revenue. Oh well, those darn fed's pulling highway funds again."

Either way, legal, or illegal, be careful out there, people.

Black markets lead to even blacker deeds, no matter how you look at it.

Just ask Bob... in a year or so... but not now. He can't talk about it.

p.s. I tried to post an image, but for some reason, Blogger software won't let me anymore. Anybody know what that's all about? I've been trying to put pix up for about 20 hours now. Any other Blogger clients having that problem?

Incredible! Armed Mexican drug cartels in National Forests! Another failure by our Congress.

If made legal, the market disappears. We sanction gambling, liquor, topless dancing, and tobacco products. Its time to create a new revenue source.

You're a Republican, Thad. Your party platform doesn't stand for any talk concerin the "decriminalizing" (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, as opposed to "legalizing") of drugs.

You can't say that and still hold a Republican voter card.

Or can you?

Said in partial jest.

On the other hand, the Mexican cartels aren't growing this to take back to Mexico. They're growing it where the demand is. I don't see this as being only the U.S. government's fault, the drug farms being here.

We are a big tent party. Able to reorganize and get stronger when we need to. We are open to new ideas and fresh faces.

Legalize it.

Thad, you are looking like a good reason our state should have an open primary law. Anyway, I am liking what I see as you evolve.
