Two gentlemen

I was impressed tonight with two of our Republican state senators, whom I met at the Buffalo Chip Shooting Complex's welcome party for Remington Arms, which recently purchased Sturgis' Dakota Arms.

I probably disagree with both of them on a number of issues. But we agree the notion that it's a bad idea to chase away party members who don't agree with every plank of the party platform. That was refreshing to hear.

It's been a long night. I'll tell you more about Sen. Larry Rhoden and Sen. Jeff Haverly as soon as time permits. Smart gentlemen. How often do you find that?
