Could the Reds take Detroit? Irrelevant.

The August 3, 1948, edition of LOOK appeared on newsstands the week I was born. In a diversionary tactic, LOOK tried to make it appear that the manufacturing center of America would be a target of the Commie hordes. Instead, the Reds took Washington and made Detroit irrelevant.
