By capturing the images I have claimed ownership of them, although my contribution took way less work than the creators put into them. I might sell one of these photos. I might gain the admiration (or contempt) of my peers. The only remuneration for a bug/artist is the comfort of one more day of life, or the vague satisfaction that may come to a wasp in the production of another generation. What artist has not borrowed in his production from a previous work performed by an artist far greater?
