Baker Street Mourns

Gerry Rafferty is dead at 63. He was among the world's most talented songwriters and the song, Baker Street contains one of the most recognizable sax riffs in soft rock. Rafferty was arguably Scotland's greatest gift to the contemporary music of the '70s and '80s.

Rafferty was also known as one of the founding members and lead singers for Steelers Wheel who had the following hit, you may recognize from Reservoir Dogs...

He only had a few songs which I really liked, but those songs, Right Down the Line and Baker Street are among my all-time favorite tunes.

I think I still even have the 8-track.
