Herseth Sandlin Speaks
My old friend Tom Lawrence, of the Mitchell Daily Republic is the first reporter to get an interview with Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin since her loss to Kristi Noem. Lawrence gives an extremely even-handed treatment of the election and Herseth Sandlin's plans, or lack of them. Read it here.

I was surprised to read she had to axe staff already. I would think Congresspeople would get the resources they need to do their job until the final day in January.
. . . and she's still intending to vote like a Republican (retain tax breaks for the richest).
It'd be difficult to imagine that what's left of the State Democratic Party would support her for any future effort.
