Senate likely to go to Democrats
The margin of control will be significantly different in the Senate. The Republican wave will not be enough to overtake the Senate. The House...not so much. Nancy Pelosi may be reduced to minority leader, if her party elects her to that spot. After tonight, why would they?

This became obvious after the reports started coming in from West River, starting with Lawrence County.
Kristi basically won the election in Rapid City.
You could tell she was going to when SHS was only ahead by 2% coming out of East River.
The upshot of all this is that, as with Bill Clinton with Perot in the mix, both of the candidates basically had a majority of voters voting AGAINST them.
It was that kind of election.
I wonder how many people actually voted FOR somebody in that race.
