For six days I have been shooting riders in Spearfish Canyon at the rate of about 1000 per hour. That creates challenges in data storage and distribution. You can view around 10000 shots at Sturgis.com. I'll have 50000 posted by a week from now. Here are a few from today.

Thought since you enjoy photography so much you'd enjoy this link. Color pictures from the 30's and 40's. It's not just a couple of photos, there are many, many great photos.

How come you didn't get RR to write you some rhapsodic captions about how bikers are like cowboys?
Wayne, just before I read your comment, I was reading RR's words. "Rhapsodic caption," is not the first thing that comes to mind when considering RR.

Ken G I just had to thank you for the link to the old pictures . I spent one of the most enjoyable afternoons yesterday that I have had for some time. It was a great exhibit on how our country has grown in spite of recessions, wars, and a booming population. It also was an honest historical account of the US as a melting pot.
From stockyards in Chicago to kids fishing with cane poles on a creek in Mississippi if you like old pictures you owe it to yourself to see these pictures.
