I'm certain Jordan Mason was the best choice for Ward 4. I'm less certain about Bonny Peterson, but that's because I have way less knowledge about her and her opponents.
In any case, they are both obviously superior to the folks they replaced, who voted to suppress the voice of a man trying to do the right thing. It has turned out that he was doing the right thing.
