Neither the Republican nor Democratic Parties' platforms mentions protecting the sovereign rights of presumably informed people to cut deals with each other, or with themselves. The Libertarian Party's platform mentions little else.
The probable most-read section each month is a section called "Reflections," wherein a dozen or so contributing editors each submits a 100-1200 word rant (or two) on something that has caught his/her attention recently. A little like a blog topic without the immediate feedback available on the web.
