Weighing in on Weiland

Seems like just about everybody has taken a shot at Kevin Weiland since he succumbed to threats from a clearly worried Democrat national hierarchy. But no one that I've seen so far has remarked on how much his face, with a vapid grin, resembles that of Jim Bakker (of Jim and Tammy Faye fame) thirty years ago.

  1. This has to be an all time Forum low.

  2. Lighten up, Ryan. It's a joke. I don't understand why it is perfectly acceptable for Democrats to compare anyone who is Republican to anything from inanimate objects (fence posts) to monkeys or prehistoric slugs, and it is not acceptable for anyone anywhere to compare a Democrat to anything but Jesus Christ Almighty Himself.

  3. I thought your blog was opposed to gratuitous ad hominem insults. Whatever. If that's how you want to roll, go for it. I've seen funnier jokes, by the way. Maybe I'll send some to you.

  4. Vapidity is in the eye of the beholder.

  5. If there is anything the Decorum Forum stands for, it is opposition to gratuitous ad hominem insults.

Weiland worked hard to earn my ad hominem insult.

And Wayne, who better to recognize vapidity than the vapid?

  6. Jim Baker = Kevin Weiland?

It's a stretch, Bob. But come to think of it, you do look a little like Tammy Faye from the back. Especially when you smile.

    Maybe a little more lipstick?
