Having met Ayaan Hirsi Ali in 2002, and having been inspired by her courage, Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh made this film. A few weeks after it was released to YouTube, a Moroccan who was offended by Theo's affront to Allah took it upon himself to consign Van Gogh to Hell.
