From a news item in today's Rapid City Journal: "The city of Belle Fourche is considering an ordinance that would require taxi drivers be able to speak, read and write in English."
Maybe if I repeat the sentence, and change its color and font, it will make sense.
The city of Belle Fourche is considering an ordinance that would require taxi drivers be able to speak, read and write in English.
Nope. That didn't work.
There are taxis in Belle Fourche? Sheep taxis maybe.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the ordinance should read "sheepish" instead of "English?"
ReplyDeleteYes we are a nanny state full of nannies and nincompoops.
ReplyDeleteBy God we'll show them damn new Yorkers how its done.
Well...we don't have any English speaking taxi drivers in Holabird.
