Pump in..., uh, something, pump out uranium.

According to the Custer County Courthouse Museum , their Guest Speaker for March 6, 2010 will be Mark Hollenbeck, Project Manager of the Powertech USA, Inc. uranium mine 12 miles northwest of Edgemont, SD. Mr. Hollenbeck’s presentation is titled: “The History and Future of Uranium Mining in Southwestern South Dakota." His presentation will begin at 2:30 pm, following cookies and coffee. The Museum staff stated that the event is free to the public, and that the public is welcome and encouraged to attend. The presentation will last approximately 45 to 60 minutes. The Custer Courthouse Museum is located on the corner of 5th Street and Crook at 447 Crook St . The event is being held in the Pine Room at the rear of the building, and is handicap accessible.

I'm hearing Thorium, not uranium might be the way to go for future nuclear power plants.
