Chris Matthews said he forgot Obama was black for an hour. He said Obama was "post-racial." I think Chris Matthews is post-useful.
My main impression of the State of the Union address was of Nancy Pelosi popping up and down like she was sitting on tacks.
All in all, the speech was a fogbank from which emerged complaints about the position in which he finds himself and dubious statements about financial figures too large to comprehend.
