For a long time Thad Wasson was the only Repub with his hat in the ring for SD's US congressional seat. To some of us, it seems sorta like "who's gonna be the sacrificial lamb?" Thad Wasson? Blake Curd? Chris Nelson? Or is the other Chris (you know, the one with only half a face and all the bucks) gonna jump in again?
What do you think, Thad? Is it a fool's errand?
Or does some Elephant flavored feller have a chance against the reigning Donkey Princess?
Sidenote: We Dems like Thad here on the Forum.
He hangs out with us. Makes jokes. Makes coffee. Talks to us.

I chuckled when I read the RCJ article on Lucas L. from the State GOP and his goal to use the internet and social networking to the Republicans advantage. I have been out here since July and he could not even find me. The USD College Republicans found me, maybe they should be in charge of the party.
In July I left a voice mail at the State GOP office, informing them I was running. Did not get a call back. I bet if I said I wanted to donate $2400 they would return my call. I did not ask for anything but I did not expect to get shunned.
Like BF said, we like you Thad. You seem really reasoned, honest, intelligent and a thinking guy not stuck to the strict party lines.
If this works for you, I hope you can stay the same way you are now for your constituents.
