My purpose on this thread is just to share a little surprise with you.
I came across it looking for visual references for Lot and the Angels and the Townspeople of Sodom from the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Why you ask?
Well again, over on SDWC I was poking a little fun at those trying to get in the door to meet with Stephanie... and Powers had just done his visual about Stephanie as Marie Antoinette... and so I was going to put PP's face on....
Well, you get the picture.
Actually, no, you won't get the picture.
The references I found weren't really conducive to what I wanted to do.
But I did find these two things that you just have to see.
First, recall the story of Lot, and Sodom and Gomorrah, and Lot's daughters.
And then take a look at these:
That second one is just so cute, I can hardly stand it!
Now, I didn't put any pictures of these up here, folks, and from the looks of this guy's permissions page, neither should you.
And I didn't put Pat's face on any of the pictures I found either.... not even the Rubens.
But I gotta tell ya, I was sorely tempted. Sor-r-r-r-r-r-ely tempted.
God help me.

And Bob, I'm a Republican. Not a Libertarian. Just a few differences in the party platforms.
Yes, Pat, as a matter of fact, a veritable plethora of them. Thank you for asking.
And Pat, except you're not REALLY a Republican. Otherwise you'd be in favor of limited gummint. There are a number of instances in which you violate the Republican principles in your apparent philosophy. But then, that's not unusual among Repubs.
Somehow, criticism from a libertarian on level of my Republicanism holds as much weight with me as criticism from Sibby on the topic.
Pat, you, yourself have been critical of your party for not towing the line on GOP fundamentals.
Let's face it. the word "Republican" doesn't really mean anything anymore, or if it does, it means completely different things to people trying to hang on to an idealism that is in fact, no longer there.
Witness you, Sibby, Sanborn and Adelstein, just for starters. All good folks, each with a completely different set of political ideologies.
In short, the GOP is in chaos and a state of flux.
Some would even go so far as to say it is in its death throes.
What to do?
Well, for starters, not what you have been doing, I'd say. Every time I turn around I see one of you guys trying to tell the other why they don't belong under the ever shrinking "big tent."
Think about it.
On a side note, if the Tea People want to go to the YPG event, all they have to do is join the YPG and register and go.
