Of course, it really doesn't matter - he's finished as mayor.

If just one person should be recalled, it is Deb Hadcock. I know plenty of smart people who didn't finish high school - Deb is not among them.

I defy anyone to listen to her speak for 5 minutes and tell me she should be managing our affairs. She is a disgrace and anyone who had the misfortune to watch the censure hearing - live or on tv - knows exactly what I'm talking about.Bean Counternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-39456426016371041042010-02-23T17:34:28.724-07:002010-02-23T17:34:28.724-07:00The cesnure didn't divide the community, it ex...The cesnure didn't divide the community, it exposed the fact that the mayor and certain council members will do everything they can so Sam Kooiker doesn't ask the questions that the people want him to ask.

What will hurt this community is to forget that that the mayor and city council targeted the council member who fights hardest for the taxpayer!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-29100646871372716632010-02-23T11:03:19.637-07:002010-02-23T11:03:19.637-07:00Hmmmm. You once again reinforce the premise that how ever well intentioned was the fiscal prudence of the alderman - that by ignoring proper process he had the unintended consequence of 1) creating a hostile work environment, 2) dividing a community, and 3)degrading the public good will of Rapid City.

Stop the petty vindictiveness. Too are behaving like children on a playground, or high school cliques, or small town gossips. Someone needs to be the adult - put this behind RC NOW, and move forward with procedurally correct fiscal prudence and accountable government. Continuing will only further damage the community. The only "winners" will be the lawyers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-17091881647123876592010-02-22T22:42:18.516-07:002010-02-22T22:42:18.516-07:00Recall Hanks!Recall Hanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-75869133384330294122010-02-22T17:51:24.232-07:002010-02-22T17:51:24.232-07:00But after reading the law, that is how it appears....But after reading the law, that is how it appears.Bob Newlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05388226473052858297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-74089444213125623242010-02-22T17:45:12.794-07:002010-02-22T17:45:12.794-07:00They can't require 15% of the registered voter...They can't require 15% of the registered voters in the whole city to recall an alderman who may not even have received as many votes as that.Bob Newlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05388226473052858297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-48486808366567903392010-02-22T16:38:50.913-07:002010-02-22T16:38:50.913-07:00(Apologies, Sanborn, I'm reposting this from a...(Apologies, Sanborn, I'm reposting this from an older entry, as I don't see any other comments about this.)

Whoa...wait a minute...BF's done?!?!

I missed that entry entirely yesterday.

My apologies if my, perhaps out of line, tongue lashing was a factor in that.

I'll keep quiet if BF would continue here.
