In the "old days" we used to take 6 still pictures of it.

The addition of a 3rd dimension (time) is an interesting substitution for an alternative 3rd dimension (space). Low cost video published on the internet provides that opportunity.

In truth, a Termesphere is actually a 4 dimensional art object. i.e. it takes perception in all 4 dimensions to really experience what the piece has to say. For more on this see some of the discussion with Dick about this piece in the post below.

I don't think, in Termes's mind these are really meant to be Ken Burns like documentary productions. Just service pieces that he uses to better show people what a given piece looks like.

In other words, the video is not the art piece.

The sphere is.Bill Fleminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08319507693205848772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-20894342091743018172009-09-05T12:23:28.940-06:002009-09-05T12:23:28.940-06:00Lotsa blank air on this.Lotsa blank air on this.Bob Newlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05388226473052858297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-83688618328606279202009-09-05T11:24:14.248-06:002009-09-05T11:24:14.248-06:00What were you looking for in terms of instruction,...What were you looking for in terms of instruction, Bob?Bill Fleminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08319507693205848772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2123919364122433432.post-38256509850985710882009-09-05T11:21:08.920-06:002009-09-05T11:21:08.920-06:00I have to say that the video was somewhat less tha...I have to say that the video was somewhat less than instructive.Bob Newlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05388226473052858297noreply@blogger.com
